The journey from Euston - Milton Keynes is around 44 miles (71km) and the time averages around an hour. The stations are: London Euston, South Hampstead, Kilburn High Road, Queens Park, Kensal Green, Willesden Junction, Harlesden, Stonebridge Park, Wembley Central, North Wembley, South Kenton, Kenton, Harrow & Wealdstone, Headstone Lane, Hatch End, Carpenders Park, Bushey, Watford Junction, Kings Langley, Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Tring, Cheddington, Leighton Buzzard, Bletchley and Milton Keynes Central. Some of the scenery between Queens Park and Harrow & Wealdstone can be used from the Bakerloo Line, if possible. Rolling stock on this route are the Avanti West Coast Class 390, London Northwestern Railway Class 350, Caledonian Sleeper, London Overground and London Underground Bakerloo. It would be appropriate to only have an Avanti and The LNWR 350.
This would be a great route! I'd also like the small bit of the Watford DC line that goes via Watford High Street included, even if the Overground train itself is a DLC and not included in the main package. Would also be great to see the '72 stock as AI on this route!
I think this is the most likely candidate for WCML in TSW. Tremendous scope for layers and retro era DLC. Thinking early AC locos (81 - 87), Class 25’s and Class 310 EMUs (use the DB 420 sounds from classic TS).
