Guarantee they’ve not sorted the missing AWS magnets south of Crewe.

    No its not!!

But it will come very soon. The steam store page is live so that will mean it will not take very long.
What i can see on the store page it looks really good.

Some pictures from the steam store:

Based on Birmingham to Crewe if you're on console it'll probably look like that for about 4 seconds

I thought we would see the GP60M before trent valley because the roadmap said we would have information about a release date for the GP60M "very soon" and that about trent valley we would have information about a release date "later this month"

They have new building skills for new routes, a full blast of information in the roadmap stream and Matt had explained that this will bring a huge performance boost. I have no clue for this route but fingers crossed it will fixed the issues that you experienced on consoles on the Birmingham Crew addon.
The point are a list of things third party can do to prevent such problems.

I hope the same! Its a long route and not only pc players should have a good experience. But my advice... Do not buy direct after release. Wait a few hours. Or you should be sure you can do a refund.

Screenshots look great. Perhaps a Thursday release this week?

Despite the number of issues on BNS - Crewe route on Xbox I still find myself playing on that route more often than not so I’m looking forward to this being released.

I'm a bit surprised by the way they’ve already put this addon on the Steam store, so a release this week wouldn’t be a surprise to me anymore. Since the existence of TSW, I’ve never seen the store page go live before an announcement, so yes, it’s quite possible we’ll see a release on Thursday.

I’m on ps5 and I never have blurry textures on B2C even when I have a good amount of layers enabled, the only issues I experience now and then are frame rate drops and stutters.

Could anyone tell me on average how many 807s are driveable per hour on this route. I know there are way more Pendolinos but just to get some perspective.

From what I can see on Realtime Trains I think there's only one per hour during the daytime. It's a Euston to Liverpool service and it's non-stop between Milton-Keynes and Crewe.

not amazing for people who don't own the 390. Though I'd say most UK players own it.

In any case, you can be sure there will be more passengers on the platform at Polesworth than at Euston... :D

Anyway, can't wait for it, we'll finally get some real mainline driving with the Pendolino stretching its legs !

And please DTG, do something with the route hopping feature, so that we won't have to leave the cab at MKC coming from Euston... :o

the route description and a few screenshots for anyone interested. presumably the full article will be more detailed than this, but it’s a good informative piece
Run up the racetrack of England’s midland region and accelerate round the curves of the scenic Trent Valley in All Aboard Studios’ next route in Train Sim World. Embark on the thrilling 108-mile journey between Milton Keynes & Crewe, in Avanti West Coast Evero & Class 350 expresses, along one of the most high-octane sections of the West Coast Main Line.

The West Coast Main Line was built by many smaller companies during the birth of the railway era, but plans to bypass Birmingham via the Trent Valley Line materialised with that section’s opening in 1847. This line provided a more direct route for both passenger and goods trains from London to the north of England through Rugby, Lichfield and Stafford.

Electrification in the 1960s saw the introduction of high-speed trains along the WCML, and following major modernisation works in the early 2000s, allowed for servces to tilt their way along at full chat; 125mph.

Explore Train Sim World’s longest point-to-point UK route to date as you traverse a total of 108 statute miles between Milton Keynes and Crewe, while aboard some of the most modern trains on Britain’s network, including the Avanti West Coast BR Class 807 ‘Evero’.

The BR Class 807 is part of the AT300 family - which since 2017 - has been established as the mainstay traction for long-distance services between England, Wales and Scotland. Avanti West Coast’s ‘Evero’ is the latest innovation of the fleet, featuring a familiar shell, but with a much more ergonomic interior, refined cab, optimised kitchen space, and comfortable first class section, with the rest of the train prioritising a much-welcomed capacity upgrade on the WCML. The Class 807, unlike its counterpart - the Class 805, is a 7-car, electric-only addition to the fleet.

Supporting alongside is the Class 350/4. With the 4th and final subclass joining the ranks, call at all local stations in both Warwickshire and Staffordshire before joining additional traffic at Stafford. Then open the throttle and race to historic Crewe.

With layers (each available separately) unleash the power of the Pendolino by enjoying the 108-mile stretch at uninterrupted full-tilt speeds, get more traffic with the Avanti West Coast BR Class 805 ‘Evero’ and other Class 350 subclasses from other WCML routes. Route hop to London - Milton Keynes for the ultimate Capital to Cheshire journey.

will the 807 be able to hit 125 on tvl? i know there’s been some recent work on the wcml regarding eps limits but unsure whether this affects anything apart from the 390

If we're talking about the issue where you have to wait at the platform and then open and close the doors just before departure, I seem to remember one of the devs saying this was deliberate in order to "force" the departure times.

I may be mixing it up with another route though so don't take my word for it, but if it's the case then it's very unlikely they'll "fix" it as it would presumably mean having to go through all of the scenarios to change it...

You are correct. It was B2C which incorporated the different despatch procedure.

It looks fantastic but im on xbox so really skeptical about this route. Because b2c was so bad and still is . But really want route. Finally we stretch the pendolinos legs. Hope this has good amount of freight jobs as well.

so, according to the announcement posted a little while ago, there are no streams scheduled for this week, so we should assume that trent valley won't be releasing this week
so, why on earth did they put the trent valley steam page up?

I’m also a bit surprised by how the whole situation is progressing. Why put the page online when you can’t even pre‑order it? It raises a lot of questions.

Its a recent addon, I hoped the Evero would be on sale but imagine my shock when every route and its own personal loco was on sale EXCEPT the one I wanted, its like they know how to get more money out of me.

More hype for the content I’d wager. It could be a new thing DTG will do with upcoming releases.

I guess the lighting effect of headlights is wrong, the devs might have confused the positions of headlights and marker lights. The scrrenshot shows that the lighting effect comes from marker lights instead of headlights, as well as they did on 805. The effect of LED lights should be white rather than yellow. The decelerating audio is way too quiet and inaudible. Also searchlight models for pantographs are missing. Hope AABS can fix it at some point.

Are you sure about that? Then why do we have to wait for steam to open before we get access if they are the ones pushing the button?

The reason DTG chooses a time when Valve’s office is staffed is so they can get support in case any issues arise. It’s not that Valve has to activate the sales process. Otherwise, DTG could have released the BR145 Expert this early as well. It’s purely about having a support team available.

Well it would be if everyone used the correct phrase, but a non-zero number of people have already referred to it as "Thames Valley lines", so that's yet another TVL.

Ironically, a quick search reveals you as one of those people! https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/thames-valley-lines.97885/

because DTG likes to have guaranteed contact with steam technical support in case of any problems with the DLC release
but DTG publishes the DLC, not steam/valve
just watch a tutorial video on how steamworks tools work

From memory I believe with Rapid Transit it was that you could close the doors early but the signal would stay red until your departure time. I know this has been the case with at least a couple of routes, and if they really wanted to "force departure times" then this would have been the more realistic way of doing it as opposed to implementing a system that almost looks like a bug.

Assuming it still isn't actually a bug that is...

For the sake of those who are intending to buy on Day One, I just hope this hasn’t been rushed to the finish line to bolster DTG’s coffers, following on from the glut of less than sterling content releases in late March/early April. Particularly with the sudden May Madness sale (have we ever had one before?), can I be forgiven for thinking DTG are more than a little cash hungry at the moment.
