I’ve been playing West Zummerzet today for the first time in a while and am impressed with the improvements. Considering that the TSW1 routes were originally not going to be carried forward and, when they were, they were going to remain “as is”, it is impressive that so much work has been done. Don’t let anyone say that DTG are greedy and only interested in grabbing your money! Anyway, whilst admiring the level crossings, I noticed that no cars actually wait at them. Most crossings have roads parallel to the railway and every car seems to turn down one of these roads rather than cross the railway. Where there are no such roads, I haven’t seen a single car. I don’t know if this was a thing before the improvements and, if so, I don’t know why I haven’t noticed it before. I wonder if this is intentional and if there is a technical reason for this.
