I'm fairly certain when SEHS was released, and even after the extended SEHS that the Class 395s carried vinyl names under 'Britains Fastest' after Olympians like their real life counterparts? They haven't been present in the game for a while now, and I was wondering when they were removed and what was the reasoning behind it? Some type of copyright? Any other reasons?

Presently, they just have 'Britains Fastest', along with just a blank where the names were formerly carried.

I’m going to hazard a guess and say licensing restrictions. Maybe Southeastern only had rights to use their names for a set period and that extended to DTG?

They never had any of the names on them. There were the two special units, Back Medway and Trainbow but no Olympian’s names on any of the trains. DTG would have needed permission for that and I’m sure they didn’t seek it as they would need permission from all of the people individually and it was too hard to obtain that so they left them blank.

I still have some screenshots and videos laying around from the earlier days of the route in TSW2 and 3 and I can confirm they never had the names implemented from day one. The only unique units ever featured were 395025 (Back Medway) and 395012 (Trainbow).
