what was the first game you played in your LIFE
anything, Nintendo? Sega? something else?
First specific game I remember was Pole Position on my cousin's Commodore 64. We had a pong style game console which plugged into the TV well before that, but I couldn't tell you what it was!
Edit: After some Googling, I'm pretty sure it was the Grandstand Adman 2000, this old brick of a thing. Man, I feel old.
Sonic The Hedgehog, on the Sega Master System 2. Damn those glorious 8 bit graphics.
Atari was my first gaming system
Hmmm hard to say but maybe Snoopy Tennis, Nintendo Game and Watch.
I had a few of those, still have the Mario bros double screen one
It was actually in early 90's and the game was Sopwith:
Wow what an experience was that Only good memories
I was in high school and played Pong when it first came out -- Before that -- I was the remote control for the TV for my dad... "dang it son change to the other channel and adjust the rabbit ears" ... now that was a fun game.....
Mario on my Gameboy. At that point it was old, used to be my brothers or someone in my family.
Tetris on the original Game Boy.
First game? probably something involving glooping apricot desert up my brother's bed.
First electronic game would be mid eighties, I remember having an electronic shoot em up similar to space invaders.
First computer loaded from a tape drive (which crashed a lot), some time around 1986
First "proper" game would be Street Fighter II at an arcade in Cwmbran in 1992
First console, NES, then SNES, N64, PS2, PS3
And always a PC, but then I work in IT support and management
who are you? i see you almost every where i go on this website
My first experience with electronic games was on the Atari 2600:
As far as what games, I remember playing Combat, Ms Pacman, Tennis (more like advanced pong), and Space Invaders at a friend's house who also had a 2600.
Tic-tac-toe, probably, using pencil and paper. Like many others who hang out around these forums for some reason or other, my early gaming experiences didn't require a lot of expensive, energy-consuming equipment.
I think it was either Tetris or Super Mario for the Gameboy - around 1990
SEGA MEGADRIVE: Super Hang On
The oldest I can remember is Blockout, 3D tetris-variation for DOS...
The first game I played was "3D Monster Maze" on a ZX81, in 1982 or so.
Blimey! am I late to the party Train Sim was the first game I ever played this year on a PC that was powerful enough to play it
