Just conscious of how many clues I gave away but I guess it was fun. Does it need to be a station or can it be any distinguishable feature such as a notable junction, bridge or tunnel? I'm guessing plain cuttings and embankments are not in the spirit of the game.
We've already had a landmark, so a precedent has been set. So long as it's something that genuinely is a landmark beyond it's own locale, then sure.. why not? well... no Seen one.. seen them all I suppose.
I was waiting for somebody to say that. I was tempted to do the water tower at Rickmansworth as a joke but figured people desperately need something out of the South East. Oh year that's another clue, it's not in the South East...
Ok... I'm gonna go with a non-DTG route for a change, but should be relatively easy. Clue: The train's livery/train operating company is currently correct for this route, but it would almost certainly be a class 185 and not a 158 in real life... but we don't have a 185 apart from that lash up one from Fuller Simulations. Yes, I have removed the station name in Photoshop... but nothing else is altered at all. The modelling and textures for this station is excellent, so referencing photos will work.
Marsden is nearer to me than you An easy one - The route was not made by DTG but is available on Steam
You are on a roll today Real version - https://peter749.piwigo.com/picture?/40039/category/383-september_2018 I was a bit late to that one but got the southbound https://peter749.piwigo.com/picture?/40043/category/383-september_2018 Consecutive trains with 60100 and 60001
My screen shot is based on a real life image, which I will reveal when somebody guesses it. Is it Network South East territory? No. Is it class 33 territory? I'd say so.
I doubt I’ll ever win this one, as I’ve had no clue so far, so I can I be so bold as to throw one in off the bat? I came across this nice little scene today and thought it would be good for this thread (correct guesser doesn’t put a new one up, so we stick to the one main one and I don’t confuse things any further!).
Are we to just say what route it is from? There are no landmarks and no station. Is this a route available on Steam? The Mk1 Vauxhall Cavalier dates it to a BR Blue period... as do the telegraph poles and crossing gates... that's all I'm getting from it so far.
Spot on! Just after Killywhan, I think it was, on way to Dumfries. (Yes, pookey, I was just looking for the route. I guess I should have included a train, but it was speeding through, so I pressed 8 and ditched it, so I could got back and take a photo.) It was just a nice scene I was looking for an excuse to share Normal service is resumed....
