I’ve been trying to see the Donkey on Southeastern High Speed on PS5 and hoped the new free camera function in the immersion controls would allow me too. I can’t find it. The camera doesn’t seem to move out far enough.
You can quite often glitch the free camera outside of the invisible walls. Weak points happen near bridges/tunnel entrances or near where two vertical walls meet for example. Just get the camera as high as you can, point it down at a 45 degree angle and keep travelling backwards and you will automatically be pushing on the invisible ceiling and then back into the invisible walls near a structure behind you and you may escape the boundaries. Once you are out you can fly around looking at stuff. I escaped from Chatham station that way and got to see the donkey and fly above the river. I’ve been round the front of St. Pancras station, along the canals in NTP, all over the place.
The front of the station is modelled but the scenery beyond isn’t. There’s stuff there but it’s not placed properly, as there wouldn’t have been much point in them setting it all out properly because you can’t normally see it. On some routes the scenery is modelled well quite far from the tracks.
