Hastings would just be a southeastern extension again? Geml is highly requested and not the longest. Dtg likely has great northern permissions as southern and Gatwick express are owned by govia Thames link who operates great northern and the ecml South might just be the most suggested route in this forum.

A steam route with a standard 7 would be the geml before electrification if you were wondering a route specifically.

I love the 156 and the scotrail livery. I have Cornwall route which includes the 156 though the sounds have been mashed up a bit.

Kassel - Würzburg only has 3 stations, WCML London - Birmingham has over 20, including Underground Stations.
And there's a lot more dense, Urban scenery to be modelled here. So realistically it's a tough ask to go all the way to Birmingham, even if route miles don't form a problem.

Not too familiair with UK intercity routes, but I'd like anything that runs the Intercity Swallow livery, especially if it's a Class 91. :)

Newcastle to York in the early to mid 90s.
HSTs and 91s, pretty sure there was loco hauled services then too by 37s and 47s. Along with 158s or 142s from Middlesbrough to Newcastle (could have the Darlington to Newcastle leg)
