The 423s would have to say "DB S-Bahn Koln" as that's what it says in reality. They wouldn't say "DB S-Bahn Rhein-Rhur"

 

The thing about layering of course, is that you get the exact model imported as-is; the setup won't reskin them for you!

 

Of course. This means that dtg would have to make a whole new DB BR 423 for ska. You would think that they have done a lot of research to know that the 422 doesn't run on ska and yet they still add the incorrect train

 

I suppose they had to make a creative decision and went for the 422. The 423 wasn't out when SKA was released so they would have have had a choice of a 422, a 425, or no S Bahn layer at all.

SInce the 425 isn't liveried as S Bahn at all, the 422 was probably the best choice out of the available options.
