I'm a new player. My personal favorite train is the F7 Warbonnet. I can see it only in Free Roam in Cajon Pass. Why can't I use it in quick drive, or anywhere else? When I bought Cajon Pass the picture was right on the "packaging" and I bought it just to use that particular train.
You can use the F7 Warbonnet on virtually any route you own in Free Roam Think of Free Roam like a train set - you can only play with what is on the track But that does not stop you placing any loco on any track If the route you wish to use it on already has a Free Roam then just Edit the Scenario and place what you want on the track Have a watch of this which explains it better - The F7 is quite old and came out before Quick Drives were made for the game As such there is no Quick Drive for this loco Peter
Thank you, but I still don't understand why I can't use it in Cajon Pass in anything but free play? It's why I bought Cajon Pass.
I may be misremembering this (if so no doubt someone will correct me) but IIRC I had a loco that wouldn't show up in Quick Drive* at first. I was able to find it in the consist editor though so I could use it in QD- just had to create a custom consist with it first. *The "secret" V2 that comes with the Robinson 04 for anyone who's wondering.
Thank you! That seemed to be the trick. I was able to make up my own train and use it in quick drive.
