The bug that made the camera go nuts was fixed but invisible walls and bad camera boundaries will still be there for individual routes and some routes are still set to exclude all external cameras from tunnels. The patch that fixed the extreme camera movement was released before Bernina I believe. I don’t have that route so don’t know how the external camera behaves on it or if they are locked out. I apologise for not going through all the points raised in the thread again, it was all there for them to read. I don’t think I was rude though, I just said the mad camera bug had been fixed and it wasn’t a joke. Their solution to the issue wouldn’t have worked at the time but does now (mostly but as we know not all the time as also raised in the thread), so they were late to the party with that solution. I should have made that more clear.
There are still a few invisble walls that cause the camera to bounce and then you need to reset it, there's two locations on ECML where it still occurs (it was 5 on release, they did fix 3 locations to be fair) there's also 3 locations (two tunnels, one near Kinghorn and one near Inverkeithing, and also one location directly next to Raith Rovers statium) on the new Fife circle that causes the same issue it might not matter to everyone but it matters to some of us.. i drive every route, every train using external camera fixed to the front of the train, so it gives you the exact same view you'd have in the cab but without any of the actual cab blocking any of your view. My number 1 wish is for dtg to create this as an actual camera option so i don't have to manually do it every time, that would be amazing.. and again not for everyone but that's no reason not to make it available for those who prefer to drive this way
