I doubt that any US fans will have been satisfied with the explanations given for the omissions from AVL. The fact that the decisions will be " reviewed for future content " tells me that those decisions are already being regretted.

An immediate patch to restore the missing content would go a long way to restoring a feeling of goodwill from this side of the pond.

The problem here is DTG tries too cater to more people (how dare) which is wrong  It's clearly more interesting having yards, branches, chemical plants and the like but people don't like shunting and insists with looonger routes that you have to play in batches because two hours services, seriously?

Especially when you consider the UK route gets the much recycled Class 66 with no prerequisite on any other route being owned and likewise the German/Austrian route has the 185 bundled. Kind of throws a curve ball at the duplication side of things too. There's still a week until early access to rescind the decision or slightly longer for the main release date.

I'm waiting for a TSW rookie to post " Excuse me but I heard that the Antelope Line included some freight content, but it doesn't appear on my copy of the route. How do I activate it? "
" Oh, sorry, didn't they tell you? Only European and UK routes get bundled freight locos and stock. For US routes, you have to buy them separately. It's 'cause our streets are paved with gold, swimming pools in every yard etc..". :D

“Oh, I get it. So I need to buy the UP route then?”
“No. You actually need to buy the totally unrelated BNSF route first and then the UP route.”

I feel like there is no point on harping on it anymore, TSW4 is too close to release for them to change it, and I don't think it'll be fixed in a patch.

At most, I HOPE we can at least get better train symbols for the freight layers, that can't be too hard to fix right? Right?

Seeing 3 LATC to Seattle services is also kind of dumb.

I think the poll needs the option of

“they do a good thing for it already and if they wanted to do more let that be for them to choose individually”

personally I think the engagement is well done and I often see those who work for DTG and 3rd Party on this Forum nearly every day, or very nearly every single week for a stream.
