Man, I am still waiting for TVL, East coastway and some British locos. (Has there been any preserved stuff on sale?) But still, it is a good sale.
I still need Oakville and some TSW locos. Have them on PC but not Xbox. HRR at 60% off is magic to those not having it. Is this the end of the sale or will there be a few early TSW items before TSW2 to follow soon?
There have been 18 products in the sale as follows: July 13th-July 20th Clinchfield Railroad Arosa Linie Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg July 20th-July 26th Hauptstrecke Hamburg-Lübeck LGV Méditerranée Marseille July 26th-August 3rd Glasgow Cathcart Circle Diesel Legends August 3rd-August 10th Cane Creek Southeastern Highspeed BR Class 465 August 10th-August 17th Isle of Wight Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr DB BR 101 Train Sim World 2 August 17th-August 24th East Coastway CSX C40-8W DB BR 363 Train Sim World 18 products maybe unlucky for some but others will be lucky enough to spread the cost over two credit card payments If I have missed something please advise, but I make it 11 routes and five locomotive packs, not forgetting a 55% reduction on the game TSW2 and TSW.
Hangon, why is the iow now 11.99 when it was cheeper to begin with, when hrr is 9.99, when it was 24.99
nice to see these sales continue I notice its for TSW2 content though, I assume TSW 2020 stuff and TSW 2020 content on TSW2 wont go on sale until its off Games pass. Either way I bet they sold a few more bits of dlc since the sales as well as good publicity for when the Series X/S versions are out except HRR which is TSW 2020 my mistake
As has been said, IoW's usual price is £19.99, rather than the usual £24.99 HRR is TSW preserved collection content, meaning it's the oldest route to have been reduced in this entire sale, as all prior ones have been TSW2. It is however perhaps a portent of things to come, and we may see other preserved collection lines like TVL or OSD similarly reduced.
Let's hope so.... Although feels churlish to ask for more after all the recent discounts I'm still looking to pick up CN Oakville Subdivision plus a bunch of locos including the Amtrak SW1000R and BR Class 20 so a big clear out of TSW2020-era DLC would be great!
Bring on the preserved collection sale waiting for Canadian national sub and east coastway Thanks dtg for the great sale
Definitely , whilst short , hrr offers engaging gameplay with a lot of variety . It is also worth picking up the 101
What exactly does the 101 have to offer? I grabbed the class 465 as it was exactly the sort of EMU I was looking for and thought London-Faversham was lacking. It adds services to HHL which I also own, right?
The 101 operates express services from Duisburg - Bochum and Duisburg - Essen ( and visa versa ) and also layers onto HBL to operate 1 service non stop from Hamburg to lubeck and 1 service non stop to from lubeck to Hamburg . The 101 will also layer onto Reisa - Dresden , the service count is currently unknown by the community
you are right, I bought it yesterday when in sale and I must admit, its better then I thought. Also the sounds are really good!
Thank you DTG. It has been a great sale with every route released since TSW2 came out discounted. The current offering ends on Tuesday morning at 11pm GMT. Will we see next week, the CSX C40-8W and DB BR 363 selected for discount, the only two TSW2 items not released or will the sale end on Tuesday? It would be great if someone at DTG could answer that question? Nevertheless, it has been a great sale and long overdue for XBox users.
Guessing not for another 10 hours or so. The store updates midnight UTC, but patches are on a different schedule. No updates showing in the dashboard for it yet and it's still loading directly into the backcompat version with no prompt to update.
Great to see both the CSX C40-8W and DB BR 363 in the sale. This completes my requirements for TSW2. Now hoping for a TSW sale of a few locomotives and Oakville subdivision. Glad to see an Xbox saie it has been a long wait. I wonder if this is the final curtain or will there be an encore in seven days time. We shall see.
Train Sim World 2: Rush Hour Deluxe Edition will work out cheaper than buying Train Sim World 2+Rush Hour season ticket on sale. Though I can understand new players may want to try TSW2 first. East Coastway is a good price. Also worth noting you can get Great Western Express, Main Spessart Bahn, Northern Trans-Pennine, Long Island Rail Road and Peninsula Corridor for £17.99 (Train Sim World 2020 Deluxe Edition sale). £12.99 for Train Sim World 2020 standard edition (without Peninsula Corridor). You will get TSW2 versions automatically owned.
Where are the details of the Rush Hour Deluxe Edition? I can only see the Rush Hour season ticket edition for sale.
If you don't already own Train Sim World 2 the Train Sim World 2 Rush Hour : Deluxe Edition will give you 6 routes to get you started. All of the Rush Hour routes and everything from the base Train Sim World 2 game. https://live.dovetailgames.com/live/train-sim-world/rushhour
Yeah, I'll go back to waiting for the next time the remaining TSW routes I don't have are 40-60% unless there's some MAJOR overhaul of preserved collection routes in the meantime that makes them impossible to refuse :P
I will say, that 363 I picked up is delightfully different. Not driven anything quite like it. Now that's the kind of new experience that makes a loco DLC worth every penny!
I am still waiting for Oakville Subdivision and a few of the old locomotives like 31 and 51. Hope there is a sale of the old stuff soon! Happy with what I have bought in this sale and it may be a good thing given the mess Rush Hour has caused xBox users. Hope we receive some compensation in another sale soon!!!
Before this sale I was so impatient for a good sale to finally come to XBOX. Now that it’s finally over I’m actually kind of relieved! I ended up buying something every week; I don’t know how much longer my wallet could have taken that!
There seem to be quite a few here including myself calling out for a reduction to the Canadian National Oakville Subdivision route. It would be sensible of DTG to put it on sale for Xbox owners. Is it just possible that the sale of other items may have been suspended until DTG sort out the download problems with Rush Hour? There is on today’s road map a planned Oakville Subdivision and Peninsula Corridor preservation updates.
Yes it is slightly bemusing that Boston Sprinter is ALREADY discounted, yet some older routes are not? Personally I'm looking for Rhein- Rhur Osten to be reduced
