Having watched the stream and seeing the timetable, I’m impressed. Tyler has done a good job on the timetable, so I’ll more than likely buy the DLC when it’s available.

Assuming it'll be existing trains in a similar way to this, my hopes would be:
LNER HST/Class 800 and/or ScR HST for Fife Circle (unlikely given the Skyhook timetable)
    Valenta HST for West Cornwall
    Class 171 for East Coastway

I hope that it isn't the FCL one, unless it'll build on the skyhook timetable as a base. I just want like one very detailed timetable for routes. Fine to have like base, iteration 1 (built from and better than base), iteration 2 (built from and better than iteration 1) though etc.

Just don't want it like - this timetable for a rail tour, this one for a 158 and 170, this one if you want the 801 if you know what I mean

They say that hill start brake has been added, but it's already on the ScotRail 170.

    What they mean is:

"The hill start brake might actually work now.... maybe. Unless you look funny at it."

    This is Rivet Games, remember?

Absolute waste of a response when you could have been constructive instead of being passively aggressive about it

It's a fair amount of stops. Probs 10 iirc. But yeah, other routes would be better. Personally I'd like to see the Glasgow south Western or west Highland line but I'll take what I can get tbh

Is the passive aggressiveness in the room with us right now?

Nothing against the developer but as a PC user and with a mod TT already for the BCC with the 170s, this is a wait for it to go 50% + on a sale type of DLC... if they added it to MML, and or had the EMR 170s as well for ECML then I might have considered it but despite some updates for me its like rehashing a train which has already been in the game for sometime which is a typical TSW MO!

Except the mod does not have proper headlights or interiors.

And considering the majority of players are on console and don't have access to mods its not a crazy idea at all.

If you don't like it you don't have to buy it, not every DLC will appeal to everyone.

The timetable is the most interesting thing in this by far. They've ticked off another variant of the Class 170 (loads more to go), but until the sounds are improved the price will be hard to swallow.

If I'm being really pedantic, they're missing the London Midland prototype interior that was applied to only one or two of their 170s. It doesn't affect the pack in any way, but it would have been nice to have.

I thought they said the sounds were redone and they sounded better on the stream.

Q: Have the 170 running sounds been improved/fixed?
A: Yes, we have heard the feedback and improved the running sounds. The internal running sounds have had a complete overhaul and authentic sounds from a 170 have been implemented. This alongside the creaks add ambience to the 170 whereas before it was quite silent in the cab

The hill start does work, I tested it in a scenario yesterday.
