Just noticed something about this distant signal, right outside of Kaiserslautern. It's not a repeater, but doesn't have a PZB magnet. Regardless it has to be acknowledged, if necessary. This route is still missing quite a bunch of PZB magnets...
RE 28034, leaving Neustadt at 18:53: When approaching Karlsruhe, the distant signal and its repeaters ahead of the main entrance signal show two ambers (expect stop). PZB magnets are working properly. The main signal itself shows one red (stop). No additional lights, no Zs1, no Zs7, no Sh1. The map instead shows the signal as green, and I was able to pass it without penalty using "PZB Befehl". Somebody gotta check those additional signal lamps...
I just did the first of the two BR 103 railtours (the one in early afternoon) on PC / Steam. When arriving at Neustadt on platform 2 and slowing down, I passed a green signal that is not far from the end of the platform, with a red signal waiting further along, and about 5-10 meters left for a perfect stop. Even though the signal I passed was definitely green, I got a SPAD. Highly annoying. Will try again to see if it persists.
There is "10" speed sign in Neustadt Böbing in the direction from Mannheim which makes no sense. I think it should not be there. I don't know, if it is missing somewhere else.
ICE-T (BR 411): GNT and tilting seem not to work on this route. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a track-installed system like LZB, or is it just a bug?
That's exactly the case. GNT needs trackside equipment just like PZB and LZB and Ludwigsbahn simply is not equipped with it.
These set of stairs at Kaiserslautern leading up to Platform 5 still result in your character no-clipping through the ground and into the endless void beneath. Thankfully I had fast travel to just teleport back to the station.
Maybe someone already wrote, but the problem is still there. I play on PC, Steam, control from Xbox gamepad. When pressing the Sifa confirmation button or when exiting the map menu, together with the confirmation of Sifa itself, the PZB confirmation key is triggered. With the corresponding confirmation sound. The problem is on BR425.
Has anyone else had the wipers in the 425 fail? I'm trying to run the Merry Blizzmas scenario and of course it's completely impossible without functioning wipers.
First impressions: a "cozy" route, not stop-the -presses ambitious but comfortable in the way Bremen or Maintal are.. Part of it looks very nice indeed- the scenery west of Neustadt is commendable, reminiscent of RSN but with modern assets, textures and lighting. Also, the urban buildup around Mannheim-Ludwigshaven is well done. On the other hand- the scenarios are really ill-considered. In Journey mode, one starts the first run on a new route, eager to see the sights- and you are stuck in a raging blizzard at night with 10m visibility. WTF? Not the way to introduce a route. Save the winter storm for late in the journey. Even more inexplicable though is the "rush" chemical train. As has been mentioned, why on earth in such an emergency, does the driver stop ten minutes along and take a coffee break, and not get back in the saddle until he has to clear the platform (incidentally, the "S-Bahn" you're supposed to be making way for doesn't exist). Weirder still though is the train. You have double 185s at the front of no fewer than 38 loaded tank cars - a huge train by German standards. But wait- are they loaded? Um, NO. consist weight is just over 1000 tons, and the calculations authorize Mode M at 110 km/h with all-P brakes. WTAF? (If they were loaded the train would weigh three times as much, and it would be GGG, U, 80). All right, I understand what's going on. The game's 185 doesn't have working ZDS/ZMS and can't actually be operated doubleheaded. And since it's only one loco, the consist weight had to be cheated. But driving this scenario is NOTHING like wrestling a massively heavy train with marginal power (something we all know from Clinchfield). NB: the trailing loco, with a flammable immediately behind it, should be on front panto,
The intro for the 766.2 has a bug on TSW6 (on PS5) where after opening the doors the train can’t be entered from the platform. A workaround is to enter from the opposite side (ie walk out onto the tracks).
Hi, maybe I got this wrong, but I have a question. Today I bought the route and I remembered something from the preview stream about missing parking, which I interpreted as the parking garage at Mannheim station. When I checked the place today, there was no garage, only an office building. I went back to the preview stream and found the part at 1:38:15: "we did build a parking asset here it's not in there that might also be one of things that comes a little bit later" So as I said, maybe I misunderstood, but right now there is no garage, just the office building. Could you please let me know if there are any plans to add the correct building at this location in a future update? Thanks a lot in advance!
I just picked this up for a bargain price (£7.49) in the Autumn encore sale and I think the word “cozy” sums it up nicely. As I still had a WCMLoS save I didn’t want to overwrite (thanks to the Steam hack attack yesterday I didn’t get my usual game time) I jumped straight to an ICE run in Journey which does end to end in around 40 minutes. The section through the hills and forest is beautiful, particularly with the sun going down then you get the contrast of the faster run into Mannheim with its nice looking and well modelled stations. Overtones of RSN or maybe MSB. Lots of different layers to explore in addition to the Journey and when it eventually picks up a decent discount the E94 Railtour pack to add. That said, I don’t think the route is worth £30 at full retail. No new rolling stock and relatively short, this should be selling in the £25 slot. But I actually enjoyed my ICE run down the hill and beyond more than the extended section from Riesa to Leipzig on the “new” core route.
I've had this weird thing several times before Kaiserslautern as well as before Mannheim. Signal is just pure red (Hp0) without any additional lights. The map says it's green though. It will let me pass with "Befehl 40" held down. It kind of behaves as if I'm being switched into a shunting service. But shouldn't there be 2 small white lights below the main signal? These are always just red-only. Am I missing something or is this a bug? (I'm using the 101 expert timetable if that's of any relevance)
Confirmed, I encountered the same issue twice already, when approaching K'lautern. Both times in the Expert 101 timetable. I can't recall exactly on which services it occurred, but both took place during nighttime. One could have been EC 216 with the IC cab, the other perhaps something with the 628 (RB 12740?). I'm on PC/Steam.
Thanks, good to know! This service here was with a 642 Desiro. I don't remember the exact services I used in the past but I'm pretty shure some of them were also during day time but I do think all of them were on the expert timetable. Maybe I should test the same service on the regular one and compare. Oh and I'm on PC and Steam, too.
The route the train is supposed to take was not programmed by DTG, hence the signal reverts back to a shunting aspect, which the signal head can not display, as it has no shunting lights installed I have personally not encountered this yet (at least at this station), however, if I am not mistaken there is a long and a short entry to the platform straight ahead. It could be that only one option was actually programmed and the other one can therefore not properly be displayed.
