I don’t understand your question. I have used only the DTG download plus RWA enhancements which I don’t think altered the lights only the horn and physics.
ah ok cause on sd75i if you turn on headlights there no light casting but the lamps show on. but if you turn on one more notch the light casting turn on but like lamps are off.
I see that in some if not all scenarios the thumbnail of the loco is unbranded. I was running the Arizona Divide last night and the loco in the thumbnail is unbranded.
They must have been like that before, because the \Engine\LocoInformation\image.png was never outsourced to the ROW/US asset pack in ArizonaDivide, it was always in the core asset pack. But maybe someone from the US knows better...
They can be easily replaced if required. The image is a png in the loco information within the engine folder about 850 pixels x 600ish.
Beaten to it. Take a branded pic, cut out the size needed, save in the right format, copy over the other. Provided the file is not updated by Steam or is part of an AP leaving yours untouched, you can save yours in the LocoInformation folder location.
I've done that for the RouteInformation\image.png too which were missing, like Hamburg-Hannover, London-Faversham, Fraser&Cariboo, Barnstaple to Exeter, etc. The default format is 256x128, but you can use higher resolutions, the game will scale them. Doesn't even have to be png, you can rename a .jpg to image.png and it'll work.
I have made a ticket with DTG support about this let's see what happens. I'm not holding my breath on this.
Update! There's more being unlocked right now... F7 Big Sky showing up now And for everyone who's desperately waited for it... Cajon Pass is available!
In your screenshot, the Big Sky says "View Details", not "Buy for 2 pounds". I'll keep an eye on it. UPDATE: It shows available here now. GP9, SW1500, SD70 V2 still are not. CSX liveries are not.
Beauty. Time to unlock Big Sky here as well shortly, I think. I don't see it used much, but I have a couple scenarios that put it in.
I've confirmed other items: Pacific Surfliner Scenario Pack Chicago Racetrack Scenario Pack Great Northern Wagon Pack BNSF Wagon Pack Both Clear Creek packs, Log & Lumber and Old Timer, now have US branding (released to ROW owners in the next 24 hours) That's just a few more. Much of the Marketplace stuff is being taken care of in this batch. But the GP9, SW1500, SD70 V2, and the CSX liveries (ES44AC and SD70, both based on BNSF products) remain unexplored. The Bloody Nose livery is also MIA. DTG Jamie, any update on those?
The BNSF SD75 Loco Add-On is missing from that list which has been released to the ROW. I had all those before the embargo except the AT&SF SD45-2 Loco Add-On which was released after the embargo. DTM who did the loco said that they would do an unbranded one which never happened. https://store.steampowered.com/app/65259/Train_Simulator_BNSF_SD75_Loco_AddOn/
I actually poked DTM letting him know that the loco was now available to ROW. He thanked me for the info and said he had no idea. Not that I expect DTG to contact every third-party dev about products getting increased sale status, but I found it surprising that he didn't know he might have more varied sales for it soon.
DTG Jamie since it's been a while since I sent a support ticket I'll let you know on this thread that these items that you say are released worldwide are not released here in Australia. BNSF Dash 9 Loco Add-On BNSF Locomotive Pack Add-On BNSF SD75 Loco Add-On They appear on the store but they don't have a purchase button so I can't buy them. Also the BNSF ES44AC & SD40-2 appears on the store but is not able to be purchased worldwide even though you said it's been released.
Have you tried contacting Steam Support directly? You can but it is a bit of a journey to find the right link to do so.
Per the message you quoted, didn't he already do that? EDIT: Never mind. Even so, Steam would only say contact the developer, they make the decision. Might be best to see what the developer says here.
I haven't contacted steam support but I have contacted Dovetail support. I just tried to contact steam about the BNSF locomotive pack but for some reason it won't show up when I want to select a DLC to tell them I'm having problems with it. I also can't select the SD75 and Dash 9, they do appear and I can select them but I already have purchased the SD75 and Dash 9 prior to the BNSF content being banned from the rest of the world so Steam support might be confused as to why I am complaining about a product I already have.
You: "I cannot view this product on Steam." Steam: "Why should you need to, you already own it!" You:"Not what I mean..."
GN F7 Empire Build & Big Sky Blue are available in Australia, as is Cajon. Oddly, some of the others have prices when you do a search but when you click on them you can't buy. So I'm glad I'm not the only Aussie having this issue.
Yeah same here mate. Some BNSF stuff is able to be purchased but some others are not. Really weird. I'll definitely give an update on the situation when Dovetail responds to my support ticket about it.
Since Rob Jansen has not posted yet, let me do this tutorial. If you are from America or have acquired the packs AFTER March 3, 2022, you do NOT have to follow this guide as you will not have any of the ROW asset packs. The two Clear Creek stock packs are just like the routes that have already been discussed. Both have ROW assets with a fictional name, and U.S. branded assets. You can use the fictional name if you so desire, but if you want the American branding, do the following. Log & Lumber Pack Uncheck both asset packs from your add-on list and wait for Steam to finish processing. Leave the actual pack add-on checked. Click on "Clear Creek Log & Lumber USA Content" and Steam will install the proper assets. Leave ROW Assets unckecked. Old Timers Pack Uncheck both Livery Pack items and wait for Steam to finish working. Leave the actual pack add-on checked. Once Steam is ready, click on "Clear Creek Old Timers Pack US Livery Pack" and Steam will install the branded assets. Leave ROW Livery Pack unchecked. For those who have not done so yet, you will want to do this on the route as well. Rob already posted this guide, but to summarize, you're looking for "Clear Creek USA Livery Pack" to be checked and "Clear Creek ROW Livery Pack" to be unchecked. As with the above, uninstall both and afterwards install the U.S. pack.
https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/bnsf-routes-and-locomotives-now-worldwide.52340/ They are here
Just a heads-up, you didn't list the SD75 in there from Tuesday. Also waiting for word on the six packs I still know of that are not enabled yet.
I'm sitting here with a CSX livery but without the BNSF locomotive...: Site Error (steampowered.com) Yes, I have been sitting like that for years now. Not cool....
You do not see the Bloody Nose livery (ID 256549). The five visible are likely the same five I have in mind, so I won't rhyme them off. And now I have to add 222611 to my list, so now it's seven missing items.
Not on your list but it has been released. Train Simulator: BNSF SD75 Loco Add-On on Steam (steampowered.com)
