I think and this could be agreed by a majority of the community that after 6 installments of train sim world, the lack of a route from greater anglia is disappointing, so i propose this; West Anglia Main Line: Stansted Airport + Hertford East - Stratford + Liverpool Street This proposal brings around 50 miles of brand new track including places like; Hackney, Lea Bridge, Tottenham Hale, Meridian Water, Broxbourne, Hertford East, Bishops Stortford and Stansted airport. Including the section between liverpool street and stratford used by the great eastern mainline. This route brings high replay value for players due to many routes being able to be driven and opportunities for interesting diversion scenarios. (see attatched map for full route) This route will be set in very late 2021 to very early 2022 so rolling stock will include: class 720 for GEML and WAML class 745/0 and /1 for GEML and WAML class 379 (limited services, being withdrawn) class 317/6 (limited services, being withdrawn) class 315s (overground + tfl rail/elizabeth line out of liverpool street) however if this is too long to make (which it probably is) then set a 2025 timetable with only class 720s and 745s. However if possible then it would be favoured by the whole community to keep the aforementioned timetable due to its replayability and scenario potential. Or, even better, set the route in 2017-2018 where Angel Road stands in for meridian water, Northumberland Park retains its level crossing and both tottenham hale and Northumberland Park only have 2 platforms, this is probably the best and easiest to make. I hope my suggestion can make a not too long but great value for money route and for it to turn out like southeastern highspeed but shorter yet with similar replayability. With effort i could definitely see this up to cambridge, bringing it up to the length of southeastern highspeed.
Would be a great pack if it includes the Lea Valley line to Stratford amd also the Hertford East branch, plenty of gameplay there. I do wonder whether there would be similar problems having Stansted Airport in the game as there are with Heathrow. Though different owners so maybe not. A part of me wants to be greedy and suggest the section up to Cambridge too. XC 170s would get another run-out and it could also provide an opportunity to have 755s involved too as they run to the airport now. Obviously the golden era of 1990 would be my favourite with 305s and 315s on the local trains, 302s, 310s and 321s on the Cambridge services and 322s going to Stansted but modern is cool too. I'd love to drive 720s and 745s in TSW.
I made this exact suggestion just last week but suggested the WAML all the way up to Cambridge, I would really like to see any route in the Anglia region, I have made 2 Anglia suggestions in 1 week.
