This would be realistic! And for the Br110+ Dosto combination: As Mike already said: It was rare, but happened. It was rare because of these two things mainly: 1. The door controls were not optimised for the Br110, so that a guard was necessary to give the driver the sign to close the doors and to have a look that the passengers don’t open the doors on the wrong side. 2. The Br110 is not able to push the Dosto cab cars because they can’t be controlled from there. It is possible that a Br110 pulls Dostos but then it would have to get around the train and couple at the end as if there was no cab car.
