Nope, the promised Final TSW4 update never came as stated in the TSW5 reveal video, anything broken in TSW4, TSW3, or TSW2 will stay broken for all who chose not to get TSW5. Even TSW5 who knows if any more will get a Fix.

 

And thats why TSW 4 was last game from series that i bought. No respect for users money = less money.

 

I mean, to be honest, TSW5 core didn't *cost* any money, for a bunch of time. I'm usually highly critical of DTG but this time they literally gifted the upgrade ffs.

 

it's not about gifting the newest update. it's about the constant release of DLCs with broken achievements which we paid for. for completionists it just sucks. if the TSW5 would still be free this might be another situation, but it's not.

You would think this type of BUG would have been eradicated by now.

I tried all what i could:

- wait 3 hours with speed x4 (god mode)
- change date 1 hour, 1 month 1 year (god mode)
- deleted manually maybe 10-15 trains on the map
- deleted the train before me which was stucked
- glitch red signal

nothing worked.

I didn´t used a save game and didn´t saved the service.

The layers on this map is way to big and causes bugs.

After deleting all layers i could before starting the service, it worked

 

WoW, that sounds like something I may have done at one time. Then the question is, which layer is the cause! ? Just thinking out loud, DTG needs to find the cause and correct it. We should not be BUG detectors with workarounds after paying for a product. Personally, I believe you have done a fair share of work as to how this RED Light Bug is being caused, and the ball is now in the court of DTG.

 

I know it's a stretch, but do you think it would be possible to complete the International Rescue scenario on TSW 5 (PS5), then load back TSW 4 and autopop the trophy this way ?

 

No, not possible only forward.

Ex broken scenario on TSW3, fixed in TSW4 or latter.

 

Good news : after a bit of experimenting I've found that the International Rescue scenario can still be completed on TSW 4 if you own a physical copy of the game, at least on PS5 !

Delete the game, go completely offline and install it again from scratch, along with the DLC (by chance Vorarlberg is one of the few lines included with the base game on the disk). Using this method, I was able to play the unpatched version of the scenario. There was no red light and the trophy popped without any issue at the end.

 

DTG Alex it's been 3 months since the update for tsw 5, and tsw 4 is still broken. can we assume that tsw 4 owners are screwed and you won't GAF about us? if that's the case, than DTG as a whole should be ashamed and just stop producing games. this will be the last time most of us have bought your products.
