The British Rail Class 700 Desiro City is a dual-voltage electric multiple-unit passenger train capable of operating on 25 kV 50 Hz AC from overhead wires or 750 V DC from third rail. For Thameslink this means meeting the challenging requirements needed for an airport run, a metro and a commuter train – so the train is designed to maximise capacity, luggage space and throughput. The thameslink class 700 operates From Rainham to Luton but you can drive it on the southeastern route in game from Rainham to Gravesend And another AI driver will continue to Luton. This train operates on this southeastern line and could be in TSW 2 maybe one day.
Great suggestion, but I personally would rather want the dlc to be for the London Commuter, and then have it layered on SEHS. In the Brighton Mainline it runs from Brighton to East Croydon. We definitely need the class 700 there, as it brings some variety to the Electrostars.
The class 700 is on train simulator so i can't see any reason why it can't be added to TSW2 and licensing is not a problem
Excellent Idea and the correct way for Class 700 to arrive for SEHS. Is actually making it as part of the Rush Hour Train pack bundle with the community forum request being Riesa-Dresden ICE-T DB Baureihe 411 US Acela Express and BML Class 700 then layer to SEHS from the Rush Hour Train pack. SEHS Class 700 can also be layered from Rush Hour Next Generation Boston-Providence Avelia Liberty HSP-46 DB BR146.0 and ICE-T 411 Riesa-Dresden Class 455 700 BML if made for TSW 2. Class 700 sounds are to be made by Armstrong Powerhouse Sound Unit at Three Bridges TMD or Hornsey TMD to prevent Class 700 TSC wrong sound issues.
You would need a new route than kne that is in game as london commuter would die on consoles if this was added
