Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition
This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG.
Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition.
    Rules:
    • TSC only shots allowed.
    • Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes.
    • You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish.
    • 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory.
    • Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves).
    • The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge).
    • The Judge of the week's decision is final.
    • We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so.
    • Please keep chat to an absolute minimum.
Entries will close at 9:00 PM GMT on Friday, March 8th 2024 and will be judged by me - cscarpenter
In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 5:00 PM GMT Sunday, March 10th, a new thread will be created using the theme with the highest votes in this weeks poll.

Theme for this week : "Spring Has Sprung"
Feel free to interpret the theme however you wish.
Good luck to all, but most importantly, remember to have fun.

Spring has sprung in the Tehachapi Pass of California, USA but I suppose it doesn't really look like except for a few small trees since it's a rather arid area... ;)
Here we are at the downhill exit tunnel of the iconic Tehachapi Loop where Union Pacific GE AC4400CWs '7103', '7257', '7209' and '7282' lead manifest train MWCST heading northwest to Stockton aided by Union Pacific GE ES44AC '7572' in the middle and an additional Union Pacific GE AC4400CW '7135' on the rear to help with the various types of 72 wagons the train is hauling; some of which can be seen still heading around the loop over the short tunnel.

    Loco: GE AC4400CW
Route: Tehachapi Pass: Mojave - Bakersfield
Scenario: 3. Higher Priority (Part 1)

The colourful trackside blooms begin to fill up the space between the tracks and the fence providing a great habitat for all manner of wildlife, here 86426 heads towards Coventry with 1S85 (07:50 Harwich PQ – Glasgow & Edinburgh) boat train.
