Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition
This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG.
Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition.
    Rules:
    • TSC only shots allowed.
    • Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes.
    • You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish.
    • 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory.
    • Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves).
    • The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge).
    • The Judge of the week's decision is final.
    • We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so.
    • Please keep chat to an absolute minimum.
Entries will close at 9:00 PM GMT on Friday, March 29th 2024 and will be judged by me - Craigie-C
In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 5:00 PM GMT Sunday, March 31st, a new thread will be created using the theme with the highest votes in this weeks poll.

Theme for this week : "Your Favourite Liveries / Branding"
Feel free to interpret the theme however you wish.
Good luck to all, but most importantly, remember to have fun.

The units get a lot of stick from the public, but I really like the LNER livery on the Azuma units. Great colours and design that really suit the styling of the trains. 801 111 seen at Southampton Central in the last of the evening light on its way to Eastleigh for crack repairs.

    Loco: AP Class 801
    Route: Southampton to Bournemouth

(Here cause I feel like I was forced to due to comments in other threads.....)

SP AC44 146 leads a coal train downgrade toward the town of Mojave, CA on a early Fall morning in 1995. The newish GE's are sporting SP's last corporate scheme, a mix of the classic "Bloody Nose" paint scheme, incorporated in the late 50's, and the newer Speedlettering Font, a result from the ownership of Rio Grande Industries, who owned the DRGW and bought the SP after the failed SPSF merger in 1988. The SP AC44's were some of the last units delivered to the railroad. SP 146 was a unique unit, as at some point the red and yellow SP sunset logo was applied to the inverter box.

    Route: Tehachapi Pass
    Locomotives: GE AC4400CW

319215 in the "Visit Switzerland" advert livery and 319218 advertising the "Lyca Mobile Pay as You Go Sim Card", make for a massive splash of colour on the Bedford to London St. Pancras service.

As a child growing up in Wolverhampton UK, our local soccer team was "Wolverhampton Wanderers", famed for their classic Old Gold & Black strip. Just thought it appropriate to capture a similarly coloured Colas Rail breakdown train pulling out of Wolverhampton Station.

As a lover of the Stadler Flirt I have started to associate this livery with it and that's why the SUWEX is one of my favourites. Screenshot_Köln to Koblenz_50.63211-7.20694_13-11-15.jpg

I love the striking look of the Lokomotion livery and they also have a train numbered 666. Huh... Screenshot_Semmeringbahn_47.64666-15.81161_10-16-15.jpg

As a Bulgarian this is the closest livery I have to the railways in the Bakans and that's why I like it a lot. I also like the Taurus a lot, but the ES64U2. Screenshot_Semmeringbahn_47.68453-15.87518_06-48-03.jpg

    GE U28CG 3.jpg
Santa Fe is one of my favourite fallen flag railroads to have once operated within the United States of America. Not only do I like their choice of locomotives but I just loooooove their liveries used on their diesel locomotives! Here we see Santa Fe GE U28CGs '350', '353', '351' and '357' in the iconic Warbonnet livery leading 34 flat wagons with truck trailers on board heading eastbound through Arizona as Service 100 known as the Super C during the Summer of 1969.

    Loco: GE U28CG
Route: Arizona Divide: Winslow - Williams
Scenario: [SFC 1.10] Train 100, The Super C
Enhancements: Armstrong Powerhouse Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack 2.0, RW Enhancer 2, ReShade

    DB Class V 200 5.jpg
DB is most often known for utilising a simple red colour scheme for their locomotives; but once they also experimented with the Ocean Blue & Beige livery first introduced in the 1970s. I personally really like it and prefer it over the current and common red DB livery! Here we see an example of two locomotives wearing this livery; first of all DB Class V 200 '220 043-3' pulls into Lennestadt-Altenhundem for a quick stop on the way to Finnentrop on a hired company PR train utilising two Avmz and five Bimz coaches. Second of all we can see a DB Class 294 in the same livery of '220 043-3' passing through with a freight train on the left!

Locos: DB Class 294, DB Class V 200
    Route: Ruhr-Sieg
    Scenario: Launch Party
Enhancements: Armstrong Powerhouse Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack 2.0 + Armstrong Powerhouse Cloud Enhancement Pack, RW Enhancer 2, ReShade

British Rail Class 365 8.jpg That East Midlands Trains livery is gorgeous in my opinion! Here we see an East Midlands Trains Class 43 passing along a First Capital Connect Class 365 that is on it's way south to King's Cross at high speeds on the East Coast Main Line during a pleasant Summers morning of 2011.

Locos: British Rail Class 43, British Rail Class 395
Route: East Coast Main Line London-Peterborough
    Scenario: APC365EP: 08:54 Cambridge - King's Cross
Enhancements: Armstrong Powerhouse Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack 1.0, Armstrong Powerhouse Track Enhancement Pack + Alan Thomson Sim AP Track Enhancement Textures Pack, RW Enhancer 2, ReShade

I honestly think LNER had a stroke of genius with this livery. It's the new LNER Oxblood livery applied to all remaining InterCity 225 sets, designed to emulate the original InterCity Swallow livery, and it's gorgeous. Seen here with 91106 on the 1106 London Kings Cross to York service at Stoke Bank, where Mallard achieved its record speed which still stands today.

    Loco: Class 91 + InterCity 225
    Route: York-Peterborough (Modern)
Enhancements/Mods: Armstrong Powerhouse 91 EP, BH Reskins VTEC/LNER pack, Armstrong Powerhouse Sky and Weather Enhancement Pack 2.0, Armstrong Powerhouse Cloud Enhancement Pack, RW Enhancer 2

Bathed in afternoon light, the sleek 'Flowing Silk' livery on the Virgin Pendolino takes some beating. Seen here on a very rare run on the East Coast Main Line, hired to replace a damaged Azuma.

    Loco: Class 390 Pendolino
    Route: ECML London to Peterborough
