Hey guys What do you think about little teasers for new announced routes? Since DTG don‘t announce their new routes in the Roadmap, e.g. the new german route, it would be awesome if DTG would take little Teasers from the new route and then it publish in the forum at which we, as a community, can speculate what kind of route may be that! What do you think? What is your opinion? Write it in the comments below. Check also please my suggestions below!! Have a beautiful day. Take care of yourselves! For me bring back the old days, where a simple screenshot would get teased, and the whole community went wild ( literally) try to work it out
Indeed those times we're awesome! Still remember the MSB one, Isle of Wight had it too, Luzern-Sursee sort of too! Hope they will listen and do that, it would be pretty cool if they did
Yeah the teasers were nice, even though we always figured them out super quickly, but things have clearly got a lot more basic since then. At least when it comes to community interaction.
Sure but the teasers are mainly about community entertainment as opposed to getting to know the thing.
Yes and No, they could but then: a route from A C, but then on before release they only did it from A to B, y'all would be dissapointed again & mad bcs they 'just' don't say it
Don't see a problem with German route - April 22 Stuttgart route - May 22 Stuttgart route with x rolling stock - May 22 Stuttgart route with x rolling stock with x end point - June 22 This gives people "teasers" for those who like such things and detail as they know it (ie nail it down)
In my personal opinion, I like to be surprised. There are a lot of clever people out there that would probably be able to guess what a route may be. Luzern was a prime example of this since people knew the track layout for the station. It just makes the announcement less exciting if people have an idea of what it is
Really excellent points and if they want the next route be an international route from Germany you would need the other side which is the international the other side German Route. Hollandstrecke Duisburg Amsterdam or Shortened to Duisburg Utrecht. Requires the existing Hp Vr signals to Emmerich Am Rhein. New stuff being Dutch 25kv AC wires and 1.5kv DC wires Signals. If the new German route is Rosenheim Innsbruck. You will have seen existing freight locomotives at Verschiebebahnhof Hall in Tyrol ÖBB locomotives at Rosenheim.
Luckily u get my point! They wanna play it safe by announcing routes now! The way they *announce* it now is good imo, give us; the region, the time-frame good pretty good[3-4months till release without problems]. Then provide us with more info via articles, then we come to the reason of this thread: teasers. We get excited by in this case 'German Route', screenshots like they did with MSB before TSW2 and then next time the code in front of with with before it an article (f.e. Luzern-Sursee) It will make us more excited and probably more likely to buy since we're exciting and hyped etc
It's something we may do in the future, but there are a lot of other factors at play behind the scenes.
