Personally, these are routes I'd like to see in the future: - East Coast Main Line (ECML): Peterborough to Kings Cross (plus Thameslink core via St Pancras as far as London Bridge - would love to see a Class 700 for this) - West Coastway (WCW): Brighton to Portsmouth Harbour (or if shorter, as far as Littlehampton and Bognor Regis) - my main reasoning for this is so we can use the Class 313 other than just ECW - Arun Valley Line: Three Bridges to Bognor Regis via Horsham - Marshlink Line: Ashford to Hastings (but could also include the rest of the East Coastway between Ore and Eastbourne). Would love to see a Class 171 for this. - South London Line: Victoria to London Bridge - would love to see a Class 455 for this. Plus, with London Bridge, would allow existing Southeastern DLC to be included, namely the 465 and 375 (as an extra, Charing Cross and Cannon Street could be included into the route) With all the above they create part of a large, interconnected network that complements existing routes, allowing lots of different services, AI traffic etc. While I'm happy to see more modern routes elsewhere in the UK too, I think it's important to continue adding to existing routes/regions already in TSW as they tend to have more chances for DLC additions.
-Cajon Pass: Barstow to San Bernardino with BNSF ET44C4 or ES44AC/DC/C4, GP60 or GP60M-3, and P42DC Genesis w/ Southwest Chief consist -Western Pacific Feather River Canyon with WP GE U30B, EMD GP20, GP35, or GP40/40-2, and EMD FP7A/F7B w/ California Zephyr consist -Southern Pacific Peninsula Corridor with SP FM Trainmaster, GP9, and SD9 in both Black Widow and Bloody Nose liveries -Florida East Coast RR/Brightline Miami-West Palm Beach with Siemens SCB40 Charger and Siemens Venture Coaches, FEC ES44C4 w/ LNG fuel tender, and FEC GP40-2 -Part of the BR East Coast Main Line with BR Class 55 Deltic and maybe a Class 37 or Class 47

My top 3 list is highly unlikely to ever see the light of day but hey ho.. Hull to Scarborough line in the 1970's - simply because I grew up at the old station house at Speeton. Class 20's & DMU's with some freight services. Harz Railway - a lovely German narrow gauge steam railway. Cusco to Machu Picchu - an ambling climb into the mountains featuring switchbacks and climbing to 3,486 above sea level.
Leicester-Derby-Nottingham triangle. 1980s setting so plenty of loco hauled and DMU stock, plus Leicester depot and Etches Park depot.
Edinburgh to Glasgow QS (with branch lines from both Edinburgh & Glasgow to Stirling set in modern day.
We don't need the suggestion forums flooded with these kind of these route wish list posts, it forces actual good suggestions down and off the front page. These are also on the front page, and are somewhat identical to this thread.... https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/what-do-you-think-will-be-in-tsw2-next.56744/ https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/route-dlc-genie.56587/ https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/tsw3-the-3-flagship-routes-that-i-want.56762/
Not to mention if the rumours are true then there will be no more routes for TSW2 as TSW3 is in production. This sort of post is really why the Suggestions forum needs to have the OP moderator approved so it conforms with minimum criteria or if need be can be added to an existing similar post.
WCML - anything between Glasgow and Preston Crianlarich-Oban Hellensgurg Uper-Crianlarich Inverness-Wick L'Artére Impériale - Anything between Paris and Valence in the 80's Mosel Valley - Koblenz to Luxenbourg

I would like to see an new French route but not high speed, more an commuter kind route. SNCF got some interesting rolling stock and there are some amazing routes out there that would be cool to see in TSW2! The variaton for rolling stock is quite amazing too. Sadly enough DTG will stick by their 3 main countries, hopefully some 3rd parties out there will do something like that!
Honestly Calder Valley Line 1980s, i made a suggestion for this route before https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/calder-valley-line-in-the-early-80s.42520/ A Class 110 a Class 40 and Coal services, but i think the main appeal could be the Potential When combined with NTP, its is Literally the line that goes Right above NTP IRL, its the True North Trans Pennine route.
Rotterdam Central- Amsterdam Central would be an amazing high speed route, two high speed operators euro star and Thalys run on the line (stopping, DB but they don’t stop until Germany) and you can add local trains in too on the non HS parts.
Route Suggestions: Hauptstrecke Stuttgart - Neckarsulm Bahnstrecke Stuttgart - Horb Bahnstrecke Mannheim - Frankfurt (Main) Schnellfahrstrecke Mannheim - Stuttgart / Highspeed Route Mannheim - Stuttgart The Main Neckar Bahn In Germany New German Route Filstalbahn / Geislinger Steige: Stuttgart - Ulm Bahnstrecke Mannheim - Karlsruhe
I'd like to see my local one from Birmingham New Street to either Cheltenham or Hereford (with Redditch included as a branch as well as Landor Street Junction for freight services)
NJ Transit Raritan Valley Line I live in Easton,PA area where Annandale and High Bridge stations are 15-20 minutes drive Hollandstrecke Duisburg-Utrecht introduces the Netherlands and makes HRR Busy.

As I've recently ridden the Frecciarossa in Italy: I would love for an Italian HSR line to be finally included in Train Sim. As far as I know, not a single train simulator has an Italian HSR line included so far. It would definitely be a first! In terms of route: My favourite would be from Rome to Naples due to it's stunning scenery. Another option is Turin to Milano as it is quite short and more "friendly" to develop. As far as trains go I'd like to see the ETR 1000. It's, hands down, the most beautifully desiged and stylish train I've ever seen. A truly magnificent beast.
I'd agree on the Italian HST route, but I personally think that Parma - Bologna Centrale would be better. Both Frecciarossa and Italo could eventually be included and if Dovetail wants to do it properly they can also add the local line.
